FAQ
Common questions.
Direct answers to the most common questions.
Our primary pairs are Italian with English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese. For medical and pharmaceutical work, German and English are our deepest combinations with the most regulatory experience. For fashion, French and Japanese are strong alongside English. We are direct about what we can and cannot do well: if a pair is outside our core depth, we say so.
A standard 2,000-word document goes through our workflow in 3 to 5 working days. Express 48-hour delivery is available for most document types under 1,500 words. Larger projects and technical documentation suites are scoped at quoting stage with a confirmed delivery date that we hold to.
Every project is matched to a translator based on subject-matter qualification in the specific domain. A pharmaceutical regulatory submission goes to someone with pharmaceutical or regulatory science background. A luxury fashion campaign goes to someone who has worked with luxury brands. We do not assign by language availability alone.
Yes. For documents requiring a sworn declaration for official Italian use, our translators are registered with relevant Italian courts. For international use requiring apostille, we can advise on the process. We handle sworn translations for medical certifications, academic qualifications, legal documents, and official administrative use.
We are direct about this because it matters. We do not take on general commercial translation without a sector context, we do not accept projects where the terminology is unclear and no reference material exists, and we decline projects where the stated timeline is not achievable without compromising quality. We would rather turn down a project than deliver something we are not confident in.
Free revisions are included for 14 days from delivery. For errors that are demonstrably our fault and that revision cannot adequately resolve, we discuss partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis. We have had no refund requests in six years of operation, which we attribute to the pre-project qualification and fixed-quote process.
